The Erratics are delighted that ‘one of their own’ has played on
the main square at Lord's! Sophie Florides (Erratics debut 2012)
skippered Oxford University Women to a thumping 65 run victory against
Cambridge University at the home of cricket on Monday (27 June). In a
T20 game, Sophie was at the heart of the action scoring 8 runs, bowling a
tight 4 overs for only 13, taking 2 catches and causing a run out.
Sophie,
who has played 25 games for the Erratics, is daughter of long time
Erratic, Guy Clarke, who played 172 games for us between 1997 and 2017.
Guy sadly died in 2019. Guy would have been so proud of Sophie as are
all the Erratics.
And a question - is Sophie the first Erratic to play on the main Lords ground?
