Dunsford v Erratics Cricket Club Erratics on Sat 27 Sep 2014 at 2.00pm
Erratics Cricket Club Won by 72 runs

Match report At Dunsford the Erratics repeated the formula that had brought victory at Harberton the previous week: bat well and defend our total. A partnership of 85 for the second wicket, between Fraser (29) and Krupakar (49 - so close!), provided a platform for some aggressive middle order hitting from Dan Thistle, who scored a PB of 19 at more or less a run a ball, and Chris Dean, who scored 25 of just 16 balls. Our total of 163 was deemed a little modest by many on what was an unprecedentedly dry and bouncy Dunsford wicket, but with Dom Prosser firing on all cylinders - taking 4 for 18 from 9 overs with 3 maidens and claiming a run out with a direct hit - their top order was blown away. Exercising Captain's prerogative Mark Hailwood then brought himself on to mop up the tail and claim what is thought to be the first Erratics five-for this season (5.2 - 1 - 12 - 5), and sealing a 70-plus run victory.

In keeping with the numerical theme of much of the day's 'bants', the match report for this game takes the form of an 'Errati-ku', composed by Dom Prosser: see the photo section below the scorecards. If you click on it it will get bigger.
