...which is very modest of her, because she evidently played a significant role in winning this match for us with an 8th wicket partnership with David Pearson in which the 2 of them scored as many runs as the previous 7 wickets had earned. We were only chasing 87...

Captain was Ken Horne. Wicket-keeper was Matt Turner.

Scorebook was confused:
* Erratics bowlers who were listed only took 8 wickets between them. Their bowling, plus fielding extras totalled only 79 runs.
* A.Stanyon was listed as "bowled Ken", which must mean "Ken Horne". I have therefore credited Ken with the other missing wicket, along with the missing runs.
* However, even the runs didn't add up - totalling 83 not 87. But since the Erratics scored 88 to win, we'll assume that 87 was the correct total, perhaps from the accumulator in the TV scorebook, and that the batsmen are short of 4 runs between them.
